Who are we?
Allegiant Homes is a family owned business and a Veteran owned company. After working for several residential and commercial builders, we decided to build our own home. During the process we had clients reach out to us, noticing how meticulous we were during the construction process. Each was so happy with their home, they sent us another client, who sent us another client, and so on and so forth. We meet with every potential client personally to ensure you are well informed and are getting exactly the home you want.
Why are we different?
Allegiant wants to build your forever home, not the one you will live in for 5 years and leave because things are failing. I hear horror stories about ice coming through walls in the cold or gas and electric bills going through the roof because builders took the cheap way out to sell a house at the lowest price. We never want to be that builder. Unless specifically requested by a client, all of our homes feature 2 x 6 construction, blown in cellulose insulation, cement board siding, and much more. These all aid in energy efficiency and are materials meant to last.
How do we operate?
In 2015, Allegiant moved into building spec homes in addition to the custom homes we were building. These homes are sold similarly to those by any other builder on the market. For each custom home that we build, we start with a floor plan we already own or have our owners work with an architect to design their perfect home. We then have this home priced out per the owner's specifications. Allegiant charges a flat fee for their services so your are not being charged an extra percentage on your labor or materials. And our builder's fee is always lower because we don't have the overhead of the other builders. We do not charge an extra percentage on each line item, driving up your cost. If you want to save money on your flooring, go ahead! This is your home and it should fit your price range and your style! We also realize that a lot of our customers can save themselves money because they have a friend or relative that is a plumber or an electrician. Most builders will not let you use someone that will give you a discount! Why not? It's your money! If you want to have something bid out against our subcontractors we are happy to oblige. If in the cost comparison your guy is cheaper, we will use him. The warranty for his services now runs under you as the homeowner but that is the only difference!
